Well, you guys may have heard this on either SPPf or BMGf, but in case you haven't. Most of the general fanbase dismissed this as a Hoax, but apparantly, a new episode (DP147) had been announced, and it's main plotline apparantly has a pokemon contest being at a hot spring, with what seems to be a scan. It's implied to have a lot of nudity, going by it and the contest being quite literally on a Hot spring. Personally, I would rather wait until I can truly dismiss it as a hoax, as there have been times where what was a hoax ended up being true in the end. I mean, call it paranoia or anything like that, since I definitely do not want an episode like this to air, period, but going by what the writers have done in the past by making the Anime more risque (giving May a huge rack for her age, outfitting her in bathing suits, having her strip into one in one case, most of Dawn's choice of outfits (including loli materials), and especially the risque moments on Jessie and Giovanni's part in "Hot Springing A Leak", I am forced to take in the possibility that it is true until we have unrefutable evidence. Basically, unless we bring Misty back onto the show, this will be guaranteed to happen, whether it be DP147's true plotline or even in an episode in the future. If this episode does indeed turn out to be the true plotline, the writers will feel our wrath. If this is true then the writers must be REALLY getting desperate and trying to draw people to the show to boost their falling ratings or perhaps TV Tokyo threatened to pull the show off the air unless they attract some more people. Who knows but only time will tell if this is real or not.

Well, going by the fact that, according to Adyniz of Bulbapedia, this episode was not only confirmed by the Pokemon Calendar that usually releases new episodes, they even gave a date (October 15th, 2009), and he even supplied a blog (I don't know if you can read Japanese, because I can't, though I was able to see that the Japanese title was a direct match to the one supplied on BMGf and Serebii.net before the former closed the thread in question and the latter removed it.), I'm afraid that it isn't a hoax. hi.baidu.com/kulu_windy/blog/item/932b595026723b551138c26b.html |

Pffff, I knew it would happen. I'm not even suprised in the slightest, I was expecting something like that to happen sooner or later in the show. It's not like similar things have not happened in the past ( remember the butt-staring? ). Pokemon was already getting quite sexual in AG and it since then it has been giving us more nudity than ever (many examples, can't be bothered to give you episode names).
I'd be suprised if Dawn decided to make out with someone while in the hot springs but nudity itself is not suprising me.

I don't remember there being nudity in AG, though (I do remember seeing a clip of May stripping into a bathing suit in front of company. [at least, Max's reaction when she took her clothes off in front of everyone implied that she actually stripped, and not just wore a bathing suit underneath].). However, I do recall "Hot Springing a Leak" giving us nudity (the Boss Fantasy and Jessie's appearance in the motto all say "hello"). I predicted that this would happen since I saw May (she basically resembled the typical Love Hina girl to me, both in appearance and in personality. Dawn, even moreso), even if it wasn't with DP147, it will happen eventually. If we bring Misty back, we should be able to halt this. I'd be suprised as well, considering how that would result in her very likely going to jail for underage sex. |

Well, guys. It's a false alarm.
Still, while I am glad that the rumored DP147 isn't true at all, I'm still certain that they will make an episode like that someday, whether we want it or not.
While I do not welcome, endorse, want, or enjoy the idea (emphasis on "not"), I do realize after the constant increase of risque factors [including, but not limited to, May's implied striptease in Brave the Wave, Jessie's implied nudity in the Team Rocket motto and Giovanni's near "full-reversal" nudity in "Hot Springing a Leak"] will make an episode of the fake DP147's nature inevitable, unless we bring back Misty.
Seeing how Misty would NEVER enjoy something like this and would not try to participate unless it is a last resort where all other options fail (or just to help, in the case of Melvin and her Sisters), that's a pretty great factor in cutting those instances down.

Still, while I am glad that the rumored DP147 isn't true at all I'm happy too, but it already seemed to be a fake for me. So this saga seems to be long, too long for me. They make many, many, many boring fillers, but they don't want to show Misty for at least one or two episodes. I can't understand why! |

And since that one turned out to be fake I'm... well, to put it simply disappointed(!?). Pokemon was getting a bit erotic in AG and it would seem only natural to continue with that trend in DP but it looks like they're slowing down a bit. And I'm disappointed because the sooner the show gets ridiculously sexual, the sooner they'll bring Misty back... or disappear from the tv altogether. |

Actually, in one sense, it already is more erotic than in AG, even with the fake title of DP147. I mean, some of Dawn's outfits were basically loli icons (like the maid outfit, the cheerleading outfit, and others), there's the fact that Dawn wears a extremely short skirt, even by Japanese standards (and we even got to see the contents underneath once). Heck, even WITHOUT the (fake) DP147, we already had a very brief, but very close encounter with nudity with Jessie and Giovanni, and that's not even counting the paint errors in Gardenia's debut episode and Jessie's paint error in the Combee episode, so we can't really say that it's lessened in DP. And as I said before, if Misty doesn't return, even with the revelation of this DP147 being a fake, the gradual increase of risque factors they have added in since Misty's removal will only make it inevitable that they will make such an episode, and if it extends beyond that, they'll probably make the whatever next generation after that episode the first generation girl to be a... well... a ****** airhead. EDIT: That's BAD, BTW. |

Nah, that wasn't from an episode but the artwork itself has actualy been made by him which makes you wonder what else he's up to. There are images like that all over the internet and pokemon is being sexualised where ever possible, it's something you cannot avoid in today's society. So, by today's standards that kind of a picture is considered normal by the majority of people that watch[ed] pokemon.
