Chapter 7

6 years old

"Ready or not, here I come!" Annabelle called, darting away from the tree where she had been counting. Misty quickly ducked behind the bush. She and her best friend Annabelle were playing hide and seek at the park. Annabelle scurried around looking for Misty. Suddenly she noticed a bush move. She quietly went over and pulled away the leaves to reveal Misty. "Found You!" She said. Misty squealed and jumped away from her friend. Annabelle chased after her, both of them giggling. Misty then heard a familiar voice. "Misty!" The voice called. She looked up to see her sisters coming over. "Misty," Daisy said. "Mom made lunch and you have to come home. You too, Annabelle." Annabelle walked home with Misty and the triplets.

While they were eating, the phone rang. Misty's mom picked it up. "Hello?" She said and walked into the kitchen. A little bit later, Mom came back in. "Annabelle, that was your mother." Both the girls sighed, knowing exactly what that meant. Mom continued, "I talked to her, and we were wondering if maybe Annabelle wanted to sleep over." "Yes!" Both the girls said standing up and nearly knocking over their chairs. "Okay!" Mom said laughing. "I'll call her back."

That night, the girls rolled out their sleeping bags in Misty's room. "This will be the best sleepover ever!" Misty said. And it was.
