Don't forget that TV Tokyo could pull the plug on the show if the ratings drop enough and they could do so in the near future. Also there are lots of hints that this is most likely the last generation for the Pokemon anime which would be a good idea since the ratings will only keep going down from here as it is too late to do anything that could bring the anime back up to where it was ratings wise at the end of Johto.

Yes, yes correct. But think about it from the perspective of the people who profit from the anime. Many fans said D&P would be the last season, yet, we were given an another season. My guess is, the people who profit from it aren't going to let go of it. The Pokemon anime is a gold mine, and those who get their cash from it will do anything to keep it rollin'. There are currently 1000s of workers, animators, directors, researchers and so on busily creating new epsiodes. If TV Tokyo was to pull the plug, there would be a massive uproar. I think they won't risk it. Instead, they will let the anime keep crawling for another 11 years before eventually moving on to something new... Digimon or something... I dunno, but yeah... you get the point.

If TV Tokyo does drop it due to low ratings the anime could move to online only and I guess the English dub might be finished as well but then again it could go on even if the show goes that route.

Yeah, and in that case it would be an agony for all of us if the anime would take that route. The best thing to do is to kill off the anime in great style. Ash&Misty getting married but... the chances are slim.

Keep in mind since I don't follow or care that much about the anime as it exists today my outlook on it is going to be bleak but I might change my tune if quite a few things are restored and some bad habits that the writers have acquired over the years are done away with. You can see the same type of stories that the Diamond and Pearl anime has in quite a few other cartoons some of which being American ones so it lost that appeal to me as the plots used to be very unique and had never been done before in ANY series. Also the show used to feel like it was for older people as well but again it lost that as well and for me there is no point in watching something that I don't enjoy anymore.

Ok, guys, this is escalating into a boiling argument. I'll tell ya exacly how the things work out nowadays. So, Misty is away, she was swept off from the anime. Why? we will never know for sure. Well, I do know the answer to that. In fact, the former director practically admitted this was the case in WPM's interview with him. The reason why she was replaced is because she wasn't "eye candy" enough. In fact, the sole purpose of females now, Beginning with May, is purely for eyecandy/boytoy purposes. Actually... Ash isn't THE main character. Rather, he's one of them. Misty, Brock, May, Dawn, and even Tracey and Max are also main characters/protagonists. Since Bulbapedia listed them as such, that means that Ash was never the sole main character to begin with. even if he was, the gyms aren't necessary, game invention or not. Heck, if they could replace May with another female just to continue Pokemon Coordinating, they can do the same with Ash. Also, he's not the same guy who travels around in the games. Besides, we must boycott to get our point across to the writers. I know from my observations that every business, either of the family variety or the major corporations, all fear one thing. that thing is losing sales revinue. So, we must manipulate this fear to bring her back. True, but I've also noticed that the Anime is slowly waning away. So much that, if we don't act soon, then, while we don't boycott, there's nothing left of the franchise to boycott as a result. I mean, several countries cancelled airing it due to lack of ratings/propaganda issues. Yes, I know. However, we (or at least I) will continue to boycott, in fact. I'll even have to go over to Japan HQs itself and organize a rally in front of it with some friends if I must.

Hey guys, look what I found in Internet:
What do you think about it? Is that true? Is Misty coming back, because Mayumi Izuka want to play her again?

Hey, can you post the website this was cited on so you can prove that it's true?
Don't get me wrong, I do want Misty to return. Heck, I've boycotted for about a year now, and had extensively trained myself to boycott shortly before it commenced, and it would finally be good for me to try and do Pokemon again after this is done with, but unless we have a source, we pretty much have nothing to go by, thus we can't be taken seriously if we state this.

If thats the real reason then we can try to persuade Ms. Iizuka to return to voice Misty/Kasumi but it might not be sadly. Looking at the message in your avatar that sounds like me. I shunned almost everything which had to do with the Pokemon TV show for a while after the Johto series ended but I now watch Kanto-Johto episodes almost exclusively. Misty leaving was kind of the straw which broke me so to speak as I was hanging on by a thread in Johto because it started to devolve into a giant infomercial for the Pokemon video games in that part of the series.

Yeah! I'm totally desperate. And I every day seach the web to find another rumors. I hope this one is true. I still believe that she will come back for good after Sinnoh League. That's not fair. We have waited long, too long.

Admittedly, I stopped watching the show LONG before Misty left (then again, maybe I would have continued watching if they didn't air that Socka Party commercial, as that commercial was just traumatic), and at one point I actually feared watching the show, even reruns, because of something that Arthur constantly does to DW.
However, on that fateful day of May the 23rd of 2006, things changed. When I was at Scottish Rites to do an X-ray scan on my chest, I was forced to watch the AG episode "Maxxed out", and I spent most of the episode averting my eyes out of fear (Again, because of Arthur Read's actions towards DW.). Then I heard a whiney voice coming out of the monitor, shortly after the blast-off. that voice, I thought back then, was May. Since hearing her voice and my memories of how LH and similar girls from Princess vs. Princess being integrated into me, combined with how May was physically portrayed and my lessons on exactly how Anorexia/Bulimia has factors that tie directly to porn/fashion, I hated May as a result. Shortly afterwards, I had learned that I had a pneumothorax (after two X-rays on the same day) and had to stay for surgery.
I had seen May once before. In a magazine from Disney adventures, I believe, but still.

I had seen May (and Dawn) thousands of times before when I was watching AG and DP series. Unlike many of you, I did not stop watching the anime when Misty left- I was just curious and as you all know curiosity is a powerful thing. However, I too quit when the episode count went well over 600. I mean 600 episodes!? Do you know how huuuge the pokemon anime is getting!? It's like the Bold and the Beautiful for christ sakes!! By the time this season is over there might be seven hundred episodes in existence. And from there is not such a long way to a thousand.
So yes, it would be nice to finally get a break from May and her over-grown breasts, oh and Dawn too with her constant whinning and see Misty return (for good).
