Rules of the Forum

Here are the rules for the forum.

• Try to stay on topic.
  
• Do not insult other people.
  
• Do not talk about something else in a certain club.
  
• Do not steal something and claim it as yours (fanfics, fanart etc)
  
• Do not bash other characters or shipping.
  
• Do not ask to be a staff member!
  
• Do not reply to SPAM. Report the post to admins and mods!
  
• Try to not double post. There's a modify button.
  
• Do not start any hate clubs. Example: The May haters club. If you do that, the thread will be removed and the owner will be warned, if caught again they will be banned.
  
• Do not SPAM. Any spammers will be banned.

No excessive smilies in posts. They get annoying. I know, nobody has done this yet but just to be on the safe side.

That's a good idea but it is up to them if they want too or not.

I have one: You have to love Misty! ;D Otherwise, what's the point of joining, right?

that rule is just too obvious, if you don't like Misty than what is the point of even joining. I do remember seeing a forum where haters clubs were permitted but those did not promote anything good to the fandom so the rules changed and the section for bashing and hate clubs was removed.

Well, any trolling threads will be reported and removed. At least that's the way it should be.

that is always a good idea and if the situation is bad enough, report and ban the people involved. I have seen cases like that but fortunately they are few and far between.

Hey waterlil I just this idea. Can I make an oath that people have to take and say they took it? It would just be for fun.

I joined a Misty fan club on the Serebii forums that required a special phrase to join and that worked but despite this I am not sure if the idea of an oath would work out well.

Well, I think it would still be fun if everyone took the oath and then signed it just to promise that they're a fan of Misty and they won't say mean stuff or anything.

That could work but I am not sure if this would be approved because technically, I am a staff member now but not a moderator so it would be up to them.

We still don't have much powers as administrators, nick. We can't ban or delete posts. All we can do is add new additions to the forum.

I understand that, only the moderators can delete posts and ban members but in my case that might be a good thing.
