Recently, the ROMs for Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver leaked and the trainer sprites were ripped. Special thanks to Happy_Mask_Man of Bulbagarden for ripping Misty's first ever animated sprite. Attachments:

Yeah...how old is she supposed to be in the era of Gold/Silver...something like 18-24? Makes you wonder what she would look like if Dawn and Lucas ever went to Kanto. Man, I wish that would happen. I put in so many hours into Diamond/Pearl, but it felt so empty because itw as devoid of Misty.  |

I mean, if they keep coming up with new games and seasons... we might get to the point where Misty retires as a disabled 65 yr old. Pokemon: Pensioners season.

Well, her age was never specified in the games (actually, now that I think about it, I don't think any of the characters' ages were specified), But I'd have to wager that in RGBY/FRLG she's between 10 and 12 (since that's the age given in the anime and in Electric Tale of Pikachu, respectively). Going by the fact that GSC/HGSS takes place three years after RGBY/FRLG, I'd have to estimate that she's 13-15 in GSC/HGSS. As for Generation III, we can't say much to the matter [though if the Pokebox upgrade is to be taken into account, she'd be between 10-12 and 13-15 in Gen III], but Gen IV is implied to be concurrent to Generation II, so she'd be the same age as GSC/HGSS, if not slightly older. |
