Well, I suppose its official I was kicked out of the house and will soon begin a life of my own most likely in the upper midwest in a suburb of Chicago Illinois. Its going to be a huge change for me and I will have to go through quite a bit just to get there but its something that we all have to do at one point or another to strike out on our own. My days in this small town in southwest Washington are numbered since there are no real opportunities for either education or employment so its off to the big city! The memories of this area will live on in my mind forever and I will still be in contact with some of my friends luckily so it will make the transition a bit easier. I did have to deal with someone taking the news of this hard and that person was a very sweet and pretty blue eyed girl who became attached to me because I was kind to her and shared a common interest. Its going to be difficult leaving her and others behind but I am convincing myself that this is for the best and will result in me leading a successful life full of opportunities which would not otherwise be available in this little town.

I hate it when that happens, but sometimes there's just nothing we can do. I went through similar things in the past. A while back our father left me and I'm living only with my mother now. It is sad when you have to say goodbye to your old friends and familly but there are good things awaiting you at the horizon.
I hope everything turns out for the best and good luck!!!

Actually, most of my family is in the midwest so I will not be leaving them but rather rejoining them which is nice. Indiana, Missouri, and Kentucky are all in easy reach of Illinois as is Tennessee as well.

Well, consider yourself a lucky individual then because most of my familly lives thousands of miles away from me. Anyway, good luck with your new home.

The sad thing is that this fell through but even then I will be able to stay in town for a while. Turns out that the program which would allow me to move to Chicago is not going to be in effect until August so I am going to stay in the area I am in now for the time being.

This was back in November but things have improved since then obviously. I am back at home and trying to do a bit more than I did back then in terms of being helpful around the house. As for employment, there really are no opportunities in the area right now but I am waiting to see exactly what turns up in the future.
