The cast list for an upcoming Pokemon episode in Japan has been released and Mayumi Iizuka shows up on it as Kasumi so this means many of us will be getting what we have been wanting for a long time.

Finally. Let's hope that this time around, if she cannot stay, she at least has another reason to leave besides having to return to the gym. Honestly, having her become Gym Leader, especially the way they handled it, was a very big mistake, and I really don't like the way Gym Leaders end up being like JJM in terms of their loss to rookies. The fact that they had to keep Brock on the main cast, despite having even more of a reason to need to stay at the gym than Misty, as his gym was far worse off than Misty's sisters at her gym, makes this even worse.

BTW, Nickstr, we probably need to revitalize this forum. As Pokefriends was shut down, the Pokecommunity Misty Return club was shut down, and the like, this is pretty much our last hope. Sorry for not making it back to Pokecommunity on time when I did that self-imposed break from the club back in 2011.

Although I'll still fight for Misty to return, I'm not sure whether I should continue with the belief that it would end sexism. Let's just say several things that were being taught to me by some people as well as recent events have me deeply reconsidering even fighting for women. I can't do much now, though, as I'm at Oglethorpe for my final years of College, and I don't want to blow off studies. Currently have American Studies as my major, but overall I'm lost in terms of direction, and even my major might not be absolute. I only joined college because I wanted to increase my knowledge to mitigate alzheimers, based on something a teacher said, although I had learned in 2009 that this was actually a misinterpretation from said teacher.

EDIT: Okay, some people are speculating that she's only getting a voice credit role because they'd flash back to the Orange Islands. Personally, I doubt it, since they wouldn't have any real need to hire her anyways, as all they'd need to do is to reuse sound clips from the episode to do it and not require the actress. They didn't credit flashback characters on the credits, did they? Also, if it is indeed true that Misty is returning temporarily, I wouldn't be surprised if Misty also sticks around long enough for the Genosect movie. Going by promotional materials, Ash's Charizard might stick around long enough for that film.
