I'm going to my first anime con on 16th October with my friend, Helen (we're anime/mange buddies). It is held in the nearest city to us (Well me cause Helen lives in that city). Helen is going as Mew Ichigo/Zoey, and I'm going as Mew Mint/Corina from Tokyo Mew Mew/Mew Mew Power. I got my costume today and Helen is probably going to get it tomorrow or Sunday. I'll post some pictures after the actual event, so beware of our wigs.

Heh. I've been to two anime conventions (Katsucon 10 and 11). They're pretty fun, so hope you have a good time. It'll be kinda hard for me to be making it to Recon. @.@

never been to an anime convention but have heard of them and this brings up another Youtube find: a Pokemon related skit that involves Ash Misty and Brock going to Dr. Phil which was done at an anime convention a while back. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJ-44hVOIJE

I was invite to go to one in May but I said no as I just would finished my SATs and I would be having my party during the week it was on and then the week after it would of been my birthday. I'm sort annoyed at the moment cause the Royal Mail have gone to a halt. And my friend, Helen won't get have costume for a while and the con is in a week and two days. I still need to get my boots.

SATs? At your age? Is this some British event that happens to have the same name as the source of misery for millions of American high school students everywhere? Or are you really planning on going to college in America?

SAT'S are the end of KS3 (Key Stage 3) exams what you take at the age of 13 or 14 in the UK, but most people are 14. Though some schools are doing it a year before because of GSCE exams. I'm probably not going to go to a collage in America.

Oh, ok.
Yeah, SATs are the Scholashic Aptitude Test in America that many colleges require in their application. It's supposed to test your reasoning skills against all of the other college applicants, but I think it's more about how well you can memorize English words that you never use.

for the college I got into they did not require SAT scores for their applicants only a special aptitude test to show where you are in math and reading but luckily I am not taking classes in math which has always been a weak point for me only taking a couple of electronics classes now but will have to take some math ones later on.
