umm... hey guys,
Listen, I might have embarrased you guys and, well I'm very sorry for doing that. I kinda lost control on that thread and I did mess up pretty badly In regards to getting the Japanese phone # (Now, don't get me wrong, I did still manage to get it, but I might have sunk your reputation even further without intending to in the process.) I do promise a few things, I will test out my theories and make sure that Misty is really one of the rare females. And I will make sure that I see a bit more anime, And I WILL Work even further in trying to bring Misty back, Though I may not reference my reasonings to any internet based group, or, if i do end up referencing it, it won't seem, well, absurd.
well, onto bringing Misty back, a friend of mine who is an especially more knowledgeable anime person than myself is currently visiting japan and she might contact the Pokemon Company HQ. I won't say that it will definitely happen, just that it may happen. And, well, if you are still upset with me, I understand, since I do deserve it.
any ways, thats all for now.

I saw some of that but not too many of us are in the Bulbagarden forums only a few members of these forums are also members of Bulbagarden. However, some of what I am reading says that Misty will remain a recurring character until the series is over with rare appearances only a few times in every region. I hate the fact that this might be the case too but there is not much that can be done about it there is a great deal of demand for Misty to return full time or at least have more frequent cameos but sadly, there is not much room for her on the main cast anymore and for some reason the writers in Japan don't like to have two female main characters. But, I will still long for the day that Misty returns and many of those who have not watched a new episode of the Pokemon anime in years because of Misty's absence are most likely waiting for that day too. It has been about four or five years since I have watched new Pokemon episodes regularly but, if this does happen I will not hesitate to watch new episodes of the series again.

Hum. Do you have a link to the thread so we can see what happened? Or was it deleted?
Anyways, our reputation is expendable as long as it serves to help bring Misty back.

Hmm...it doesn't seem to be too bad of a blow since you never referenced any of us, although I would agree that Misty's gradual transformation into a sidekick character in the (ew) Orange Islands is one of the reasons why I stopped watching the show. Nobody puts Misty in a corner.

I agree, it was terrible that Misty was turned into a sidekick in the Orange Islands, more could have been done with her than that. And it sounds like I am not the only one who stopped watching the show because something bad happened to Misty but, for me it was not because of the Orange Islands thing but it was because she left, that is the reason why I stopped watching the show. So that means that I went a bit longer the Orange Islands episodes aired in the US in 2000 and the episode Gotta Catch Ya Later aired on October 18, 2003 in the US. I have heard others say this and I agree with them, Misty's departure plunged the TV show into kind of a dark age which only recently ended despite the fact that Misty is still off the show and could very well be for quite some time. But, on a more positive note I recently got Pokemon Diamond and have decided to replicate Misty's team there too but what I am planning on is this line up: Staryu, Goldeen, Psyduck, Politoed, and Corsola. This team, if I remember right was the one that Misty had at the end of Master Quest.
