I need help. I want to make a Misty avatar for this forum, but I don't know any good avatar making sites. Any suggestions?

You can just use Microsoft Paint. Just take a Misty pic and shrink it so that it's 48 x 48 or 64 x 64 (whatever the limit is), and then upload it onto a site like Photobucket and then link to it from here. That's what I did with my avatar. It's very professional, but it's very quick and very easy. |

that is what I did except I started with a screenshot that I liked and resized it so that it would be excepted by what ever forum I planned to used it on. This technique works but for editors I use a program called GIMP which is a free but good multi-platform photo editor.

yes, Photoshop will work but then again any photo editor will it just depends on your personal preferences and what you need the program to do.

I have never had a website but have done other things with computers including a bit of programming and I have also repaired a few computers.

no, that is something I have done just for fun but I have repaired some rather ancient machines over the years and have also repaired video game systems and also other things too.

it is, I actually have quite a bit of free time now and have been using it to do those kinds of things. Who knows that could be the job I have in the future. I did have a problem with an avatar, I took a screenshot of Misty from Tentacool and Tentacruel showing her pose after she caught Horsea but it did not turn out well since it was from an old VHS tape. It might be time to re-do it but from a better source since the tape did not work out too well.
