Well, every Misty fan, the time has come! we WARNED the Pokemon Company that this will happen if they don't bring Misty back, but they didn't listen, and now have to suffer the consequences.
Yes, we must execute the Global Boycott. I will NOT let anything deter me from this set plan, not even the Darkrai event on the 27th. We must not buy ANY Pokemon Products, Nor should we watch any broadcasts of pokemon (as in, pokemon episodes, movies, and/or specials that air on Cartoon Network or any channel that airs them.).
While you can still use the products you already have (Like toys, the video games, periphella, books, or the Pokemon Box Sets/Pokemon Volumes/Pokemon Movies), you cannot buy ANY pokemon stuff (even the ones that are for free, like the Darkrai event.).
Yes, it may be a pain, but sacrifices must be made if we have to Bring her back, and, most importantly, stop sexism for good.
Also, I may have to post the video explaining my rationale later. I do have a video editing system, but for some strange reason, it's not uploading. And since I NEED to edit the video to make it somewhat kid friendly (You know, censorship bars and all), I can't exactly post it right now. But I swear, as soon as Studio 11 is online, I WILL edit and post the videos.
Also, Nickstr, I have a favor to ask. Could you go to the Serebiiforums Misty club and tell them this news? I mean, I'd tell them myself, but since I'm banned from the club, I can't really deliver this news to them. and I can't deliver it via PM since ~Mist~ hinted that If I PM her one more time, I'll be banned from the site, period. I mean, I'm sorry if I must ask, but I can't exactly do it by myself in regards to the Serebiiforums branch.
anyways, that's all for now.
EDIT: Slight change in plans, we CAN go to the Darkrai event at Toys R Us, just as long as we don't BUY any Pokemon Products (the Darkrai Event doesn't have you pay anything to get him (well, besides trading a pokemon.).).
However, we still shouldn't watch any Broadcasts of Pokemon, regardless of whether it has Johto or Orange Islands, since, even though we technically don't pay our cable companies money for us to watch them every hour, they contribute via a little thing called ratings, so in order to reinforce that either Misty comes back, or the anime goes down financially, we must ALSO not watch any broadcasts on tv.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAA...
Epic Phail. I've said it quite a few times on Bulbagarden and I'll say it again. A boycott will never work. I've looked at some of your posts, and I think it's quite hilarious the way you compare people who make fun of you to the Roman Empire, or compare yourself to the Founding Fathers... sad.

Sigh, if you only joined this website just to mock me and the rest of the loyal Misty fans, I'd suggest you leave this site, or else I will report you to AJNrules AND Nickstr. I don't really have time for people who only join a website just to mock someone (as a matter of fact, it's actually against the rules of this site to do that.) So, If I were you and I was mocking someone, I'd leave this site before I get reported.

Well, I'm not going to make fun of anybody or anything but let's be honest with each other. A boycott won't work. It won't work because there too few people willing to participate in it. BUT I know what WILL work. It is time to execute the invasion. Prepare your guns-time for war kinda' thing.

BUT I know what WILL work. It is time to execute the invasion. Prepare your guns-time for war kinda' thing. True, but, then again, very few people were willing to participate in the british merchandise boycott, or declare independence from Great Britain, for that matter, and yet, despite only a few people being willing to do just that, and the fact that we were going up against the most powerful interseas/intercontinental empire at that time, we were still able to defeat them and gain our independence. Besides, most, if not all of the 900 people at my school, in my neighborhood, and even at the AWA convention believed what I was trying to accomplish, and liked the idea. Heck, some people were saying to others to sign my petition (Which I formed with 3 other people) by saying I have a good reason for trying to bring her back, and, before I intervened, even tried to force someone to unwillingly sign a petition. heck, most of the people at my school also commented that my video was sound and persuasive, and I had a good reason for it. Plus, I also made it quite clear that we will boycott, and the teachers even said that we might boycott. Heck, some of the football players said they'll boycott pokemon should the writers refuse. I don't believe in war, and personally it's a very petty thing to get into a war about. I mean, at least in WWII, the first and only time Japan and us even fought aganst each other, we had a good reason, as they bombed Pearl Harbor. The closest thing to a war that we can do without guns and all that is a peaceful non-violent means like boycotting.

I know, possibly a made up war or something but then again Misty has lots of fans worldwide and many of them already refuse to watch the Pokemon TV show or only watch reruns of seasons 1-5 when they air. Personally, I don't watch anything on Cartoon Network right now except for Pokemon season 1-5 reruns as most of the shows currently airing are really nothing special. And the fact stands that the Pokemon anime is waning in popularity and the current generation could very well be the last one ever for the TV show if the hints are anything to go by.

Again, you are correct, exept the last generation part. For us, it might seem like the anime will end in a matter of months now, BUT say, for new 7 year old pokemon fan, the current anime might look like it looked to us so many years ago. It all depends on the point of view. Remember about circulation, every anime has old and new followers. The old ones go, the new ones come. The old ones might complain about it being not good anymore, but the new ones will think it's good because the weren't around when it used to be better. Simply, what I'm saying is that we, the old veterans are more experienced than newcomers who just started to watch it. It's the same case with Pearlshipping, which is mostly made up of 7 and 8 year olds just like Pokeshipping is nowadays mostly made up of old teenagers, or even peoples in their 20s.
hmmmm, It's hard to forseen the future for pokemon. We can only assume its future, but we will never be sure. I mean, who might have though that Misty would leave at the time? It was a worldwide shock. And just as well, we might be on a verge of an another great turmoil in anime. OR, maybe it'll just continue as it is for the coming decades. Who knows?
Time will show.

Problem is, is that if they wanted new 7 year olds to tune in, they should have replaced not just Misty, but the entire main cast as well since, really, most of these new 7 year olds won't know about Ash's previous accomplishments, and will also be confused in regards to some of the flashbacks among other things. It would have made more sense to replace all of the main cast members (which includes, yes, even Ash and Pikachu), than just remove one and keep the rest. Since my video's uploaded, and I plan to expose to everyone what Masamitsu Hidaka said in regards to replacing Misty, and if needs be, create a new petition, not to mention China cancelling pokemon, Siam cancelling pokemon, the netherlands, and others cancelling pokemon, and the other countries not doing so well, it may as well be going through great turmoil, all thanks to the writers selfish and sexist decision.

Yeah, but since the new fans didn't know Ash before, what's the need to change him? I mean, to be perfectly honest, there was no need to change the cast one way or another. See The Simpsons, they remained unchanged since they began almost 20 years ago. And they remained on the screen. What I mean is, that the anime can linger with a tiny fanbase regardless of how much boycotting you'll do. :/
Pokemon are already cancelled in Siam and Netherlands lol XD

In fact, several People were surprised when they heard they stopped airing it. (I also heard it on TV.com.
