Soo... Why is this site almost barren?

I mean, I wanted to wait for reviews for my Fanfic, but it seems as though this site is currently experiencing a drought. Can someone explain to me exactly what's going on? I mean, if it has to do with waiting for news in regards to Misty returning, we can still wait while we post responses to the site and make new threads.

lol don't look at me, I'm visiting this site everyday waiting for posts as well, but it seems like everbody's asleep. I mean, even though the situation in anime doesn't look good we can still post comments here... talk about pokemon in general right?

The fact that there is not much to talk about other than how much most of us miss Misty and want to see her again is one thing I could see keeping this forum from being active and also because there is not much to keep us checking everyday.

I guess if we post pictures and do other things then this can be kept alive and I am thinking about doing some promotion since I happen to frequent the Misty clubs on the Bulbagarden, Serebii, and Pokecommunity forums but I have to check the rules on links for them first.

Good idea, I think it is fine to put links in signatures on the Bulbagarden and Pokecommunity forums since I checked the rules thoroughly a while back.

Same here, I try to keep this alive as much as I can seeing as though I have a bit of power here but not as much as some.

That's good to hear and all, but I do also need reviews for the fanfic before I continue.

See, I only have a few hours before the deadline's up, and thus, before I am forced to BUMP the fanfic in order to keep it from being decomissioned (as most threads have a limit of non-response activeness of about 30 days.) As you know, I can't exactly risk that since I have to finish this (I don't know if the 30 day rule applies to fanfiction or not, but, I can't take any chances, so...).

Anyways, my point is that you guys have to review chapters 2, 4, and 5 before I post the next chapter for "The Birth of Misty" (as I need to know the feedback from the audience in regards to it before I continue.)

Also, be sure to give this message to AJNrules as soon as he returns to the site.

Ahh, I forgot to review your fanfic of course, I'll get down to it as soon as i can ( now? ). Btw, I think I'll be making some fan fiction in the weeks to come, but It might be a lot longer than that before it comes out because I need... I need something that will give me the right inspiration.

So... Guys, shouldn't this site be active? I mean, it's almost inactive, virtually no one's responding to my Fanfics, and I do need reviews (I can't just post them on Fanfiction.net because of the fact that they don't allow any copyrighted info in there.). Plus, I don't want to see this site be killed off, so can't we all try to make it uber active?

I am not sure why the forums are dead but it could be that hardly anyone checks this anymore. The only thing to do is promotion and I am doing that through the topic on my IRC channel on the SystemNet network.

There were three rules on that site I have to follow in regards to posting Fanfics.

1. They need to have good grammar (I can do that, It may be a pain, but it's good nonetheless.)

2. They need to be in one fanfiction category only (meaning, I can't place two Fanfictions in both... Pokemon and Starfox, even IF they both fit, for example.)

3. They cannot have copyrighted stuff in it. The last rule is what prevents me from posting the fanfic in the first place. Heck, it's also preventing me from posting many other fanfics as well. I mean, this fanfic, aside from being Pokemon, also has references to TLM (Ursula was mentioned at one point, and one of the main characters is none other than Ariel), Star Wars (the flashback as to why Amakiani (AKA, Lord Megatron) betrayed Pokeria was based off of Palpatine revealing himself to be Darth Sidious revealing to Anikin Skywalker that he's the sith lord, a third of the fight was derived from the Battle on Mustafar, Ariel's talk to Megatron at the end of the fight was similar to Obi-Wan's talk to Anikin at the end of the duel[/Spoilers]) and Dragon Ball Z (the scene where Ariel and Athena's ghost is trying to repel the energy blast from Megatron was based off of the climax of Broly: Second Coming, and [Spoilers] the final leg of the fight was based off of the climax in Broly: the legendary super saiyan.[/Spoilers]). Basically, I have so many copyrighted material references in there (that I THINK that they won't allow) that I probably would get in trouble twice over. That's why I can't place it on Fanfiction.net.
