Anyways...four months since then and still obsessed over Misty. ^_^

For me, I guess its growing over the past four months and has driven me to get the entire first and second Pokemon seasons on DVD rather than having pirated copies. I also see Misty's pretty face everytime I boot one of my computers or the Playstation Portable that I have so it proves that in another way as well.

uhmmmm... to be honest, I am and always was obsessed with pkmn. I don't need any motivation or anything like that. It's just as if my frontal lobe was replace by a huge sticker "Pokemon".

Lol!! That sounds exactly like me!! I guess I've always been a huge anime/manga fanatic and Pokemon has gotta be my favorite.

Yes, I've watched anime since I was like 3 or 4- the first being Sailor Moon... I just got hooked up to it somehow. lol I've got a huuuge collection of episodes on my hard drives- literally hundreds of episodes from diffrent anime series- about 550 clips from pokemon alone....

I guess one sign that I have an obsession with Misty was that when someone showed me an exact replica of her shoes which was available on eBay I ended up freaking out.

Yes, absolutely and in fact I got them despite the fact they will have to be imported from Asia.

They fit and I AM going to wear them but on special occasions. The shoes are a womens size 10.5 which is the equivalent to a mens size 8 which is a shoe size I actually can wear so that is a huge plus.

oah wow, that's kinda nice. If you're happy, we're all happy. But obsessions can take on diffrent forms though- I knew a guy once that was so obsessed with Naruto he started wearing and acting like the characters from that anime. Not to mention the humongous collection of cards, games and... anything you can think of. He was a nice guy, but... a bit... weeeeird.

anyway, do you think anyone will notice that you're wearing Misty's shoes?

I think so especially if they watched the Pokemon anime during the days when it was at the height of its popularity and that number of people was huge. But yes, thats right obsessions take all kinds of different forms and some are better than others luckily. I guess mine is one of the better ones since I am not acting crazy but would you consider having more than one computer with wallpaper featuring Misty as something crazy?
