Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Thread

That is something I have considered and done something about, my Politoed and Golduck know ground type moves to counter electric types and also others. Lately, I have also managed to find a pair of Luvdisc and have bred them one of the bred Luvdisc is a female which I have nicknamed Luverin and if I end up with a male one soon it will be nicknamed Caserin which were of course named after the two which were in the episode "Luvdisc Is A Many Splendored Thing." This team I might not use in battle much but Starmie is already at the point where it can defeat the elite four alone without too much of a problem. This was a fun thing to do and if there was a competition where you could only use teams based on ones that the Pokemon anime characters had, I would enter my Misty team when I feel that they are all ready.

I am playing as the male character in Diamond but I am also playing a hacked game called Pokemon Orange but in that game I am playing as the female character but this character is Misty and this is the truth. The problem with that game is because since it is a work in progress it is not complete and there are some areas that cannot be visited yet.

In Orange I have been trying to collect Misty's Pokemon but I can't because I can't get Laparas which I could in one of the earlier versions of this hack. In Diamond, I have most if not all of Misty's Pokemon and can actually breed them too. The only real challenge was Corsola and Politoed. Corsola was a challenge since it only swarms at random times but luckily I got two Corsola swarms. Politoed was the other challenge since I needed to trade Poliwhirl with a King's Rock attached to get it but I found someone who was kind enough to do a 360 trade.

it was not too much of a big deal but for some of them I had to trade and some I have even bred. An example of this was the two Luvdisc I mentioned earlier and also an Azurill which knows Refresh. The only tricky one to breed is Azurill which requires a Marril holding Sea Incense and one other which in the case of what I got was Corsola.

That's cool. I love Misty's pokemon, but I also love a lot of pokemon she doesn't have. For example, 2 pokemon that she doesn't but that are always part of my team are buizel and empolean. I love togepi!!!!!!!!!!!!! A few years ago I got a giant stuffed togepi and it is just about the cutest thing I own. I am even pretty good at making the togepi noise(don't ask me to do it though^_^)

I actually did Misty's entire team and had a perfect recreation of the one she had late in the Master Quest series at one point. The team was Staryu, Goldeen, Psyduck, Corsola, Politoed, and Togepi. You are not alone in being able to do Togepi, I used to be able to before my voice started to change but that was quite some time ago.

lol... even though I played diamond and pearl i never ever got the togepi... I never got the togepi in pokemon red, blue and so on... I never really was able to recreate Misty's team...

I had a perfect re-creation of Misty's team in Diamond and I can breed every single one of her Pokemon including Azuril and it will even have Refresh which is an egg move and Misty's Azuril knows that move too.

OMG... I was always trying to recreate Ash's team- one problem though... it's impossible... You can't get bulbasaur, charmader and squirtle at the same time in pokemon red... xD

You can in Pokemon Yellow though. I guess we have stumbled on another bit of common ground, Red was my first Pokemon game too! But that was before I started to watch the TV show so I was not set on re-creating the team owned by any of the characters on it.

Well, I watched the pokemon series first, so i had a pretty good idea of how Ash's team looked like... i saw the first 20 episodes or so adn then i got the game along with a brand-new gameboy pocket! It was stunning... exhilarating

One of my favorite episodes is in the original 20 and that one would be The Ghost Of Maiden's Peak. The day I ended up getting Red was exciting. I got it in a value pack which had the game itself along with an Atomic Purple Gameboy Color and the player's guide for Red and Blue.
