In my case I would use one team that I did recently which is an exact replica of Misty's team from late in the Master Quest season including Togepi! That one was really exciting to do and a bit difficult as well since some of them are swarming or only appear after getting the National Dex but yet I pulled it off.

Oh, congrats to you... ¬_¬ * jealous* I recreated Ash's team though... not much of an acomplishment but... I have a snorlax!!! and his attacks are exacly the same as Ash's Snorlax. His hyper beam is pretty impresive. :3

Ash's team is very easy since I guess his can be acquired before the National Dex but then again I don't know a thing about his current team for obvious reasons.

Well, I know that he had an Aipom but he traded it with Dawn and... oh well. I'm getting lost in this too. But yes, Ash's team is pretty easy, I guess Brocks team's pretty easy too but never had a go at it... cba with Onix XDDD

The characters that are currently on the anime are going to be the easiest ones to do obviously but there could have been an exception with Misty though in late Master Quest since Politoed requires a trade since it evolves from Poliwhirl holding the King's Rock and all Pokemon that use the King's Rock as an evo stone which are only two that I know of require trades. Corsola could be another exception since it is very rare, so rare in fact that I never saw it at all in Silver which is what I had from that generation.

I might be battling a bit more since I have officially became a water type gym leader in an online league! The order of the gyms has not been set but I think I might be the second or third one in the group. My team consists of Starmie, Staryu, Politoed, Gyarados, Golduck, and very soon Kingdra so my team is very much based on Misty's and inspired me to create a badge which is based in some form on her likeness which is what I am going to do.

oh great! Maybe I should become a Fire type gym leader then, like blaine, since my speciality are fire pokemon. Magmar, Charizard and Arcanine are the ones that might do the job. But hey! A gym leader can use up to 6 pokemon, right? ahh, no limits then...

There is a limitation for this league, your Pokemon cannot be EV trained or IV bred but can have beneficial natures. I just need to finish up with Kingdra and then my team is ready to go which will not be very long at all.

There is a hold up now, I need a Dragon Scale for Kingdra but that aside my team is just about ready but I might replace my legit level 100 Starmie with another one since the other one knows Psychic rather than Power Gem.

A starmie that knows a Psychic attack? That's just like teaching a Charizard water pump lol btw, what's a Dragon Scale?

A Dragon Scale is an item which is held by Seadra and Horsea which is used as an evolutionary item at the Seadra stage to get Kingdra after a trade. Starmie is a water/psychic type so it gets the special type attack bonus when it uses either water or psychic attacks.

Wow, didn't really know that Starmie was a phychic type. And I always thought that starmie was not worth catching... right then... maybe I'll trade it at GTS
