My favorite eppie would be Pokemon I Choose You, because that's how it began, I wouldn't be sitting here, writing those messages unless I saw it... and it was a pure coincidence... I switched on the tv... Cartoon Network, that is, and then I heard "gotta catch them all" for the first time... amazing...

I am watching Cartoon Network now and the schedule says they are showing Camp Lazlo not Pokemon.

yeah, apparently that's because Cartoon Network is fed up with Nintendo's fees... that's what i heard...

I don't know if that is the case but taking Pokemon off the air? Something about that just does not seem right as this is a rather sensitive series in the aspect that some people strongly dislike many of the D/P characters.

agree... it's a delicate matter, and Cartoon Network doesn't seem really bothered.... for now...

exactly, just as I said before it is a sensitive series and there are petitions whose purpose is to bring the Pokemon series back to Cartoon Network but so far, these petitions have failed.

But surely it won't end just on petitions, will it? I mean, there are other ways to make Cartoon Network bring pokemon back... i don't know... a bribery?

I don't think it will end with petitions, some of these people are very angry over this decision. In my case, I am not as angry as some are but still not too happy over this.

I know that I am double posting here but had an idea. Since many of us have Pokemon Diamond or Pearl, I am thinking of possibly having some sort of water type Pokemon tournament. This could be a possibility and a rather fun idea since I am sure that those who do have Diamond or Pearl either have or could easily put together and train an all water type team but it could be possible to allow normal types too but I am thinking that they should be limited to just Azurill, Togepi, Togetic, or Togekiss only as Misty herself either had them or in the case of Togekiss, the final evolved form of one that she had.

Heh...3 of my 5 level 100 Pokemon (Blastoise, Empoleon, and Gyarados) are water, but they're kind of weak because I don't EV train.

me neither but in a Wifi battle there is the option to have a level 100 battle where no one has any sort of level advantage. I only have two level 100s just Corsola and Starmie and they both can defeat the elite four without a problem. One thing I suggest is movesets, try to cover for their weaknesses which is what I did with my entire Misty/Kasumi team and it seems to have worked well.

That tournament idea would be fun considering my whole team is pretty much always water pokemon.

That is what I thought as well and there are other water type tournaments out there already but it might be fun to have our own. It just depends on how many of us have the ability to battle online using Pokemon Diamond or Pearl and a wireless network. I have had the ability to do this very thing since day 1 but did not have a water type team until I got the National Dex in the game and at that point I ended up making a perfect replica of Misty's Johto team! This might be a good poll idea to find out how many members would be willing to participate in a water Pokemon tournament but until then this is just an idea.

You never know until you try, but the playing field should be very level as I am sure not all of us are competitive battlers. There is going to be a tournament in Pokemon which will be the US vs Japan but this is in New York City and Los Angeles only and not on the internet. Kind of stupid when you think about it because more people would be able to participate if it was.
